I would first like to note that this item contains exempt appendices which are set out in the restricted papers or item agenda item 15 the report may be discussed and decided upon in public session as we are now provided no exempt, information is disclosed and Members are happy to take the information in exempt as read alternatively, if Members wish to discuss anything which appears in the exempt appendix please could you indicate during the discussion our final decision will then be held over and discussed in private session later.
OK, I'll pass on to David Councillor David Hayward.
thank you.
do I ask whether we need to go into exempt, or shall I ask Caroline, to present the motion and do that for us, thank you,
I think in the first instance, if you're content to discuss and agree in open session, then
we can do so obviously. any details of the nominee we can't say at this stage, so does rather limit.
what we can do, I can confirm, obviously that we, we, this item, was discussed at the comes CAB last week and and it was approved without further comment.
in which case, then, please, assuming that none of us wish to go into exempt, please propose the motion, thank you.
OK, basically, that Cabinet recommend to Full Council that the individual set out an exempt appendix to the report be awarded the title of Honorary Alderman is the recommendation, so providing you're happy then?
without mentioning name or names, does anybody wish to comment on the item?
Wendy Donna?
last Monday I was just coming on to that.
so, are we agreed with the the recommendation, that is that Cabinet recommend to Full Council the individual set out at exempt Appendix A to the report be awarded the title of Honorary Alderman, are we agreed?
OK, that is unanimous.
move on to item number 11, which is is identical, which is also Civic award for 2023, so we can discuss it in private session or in public session and David Joanna introduced the item on that one. Please
yes, thank you. This is exactly the same thing, it's regarding a civic award and it has gone through the cabs so if Caroline would like to explain more, and then we'll do the decision as to whether we're going to exempt or not, thank you.
thank you Chair, there's very little, I can add to that, other than that it is a nominee, it is for the freedom of the borough
and obviously any details would need to be taken forward into exempt, but again, if you're content to take forward the recommendations from the comes cab which were approved without further comment at the time,
thank you, Caroline, does anybody wish to comment on the item?
no, I just explain it again, we we can't mention the name of these this person or these people in public, which is why we we, we can't say much for anybody who's listening and thinking this is a bit weird
it has to go to full Council. for decision, so I'll read out the recommendation on item 11
that Cabinet recommend to Full Council that the individual set out exempt appendix A to the report be granted Honorary Freedom of the Borough, are we agreed?
item 11 is unanimously agreed

Lee Collier, director of finance policy and development will introduce this item before I pass over to him, I would like to note that this item contains a report and exempt appendices which are set out in the restricted in gender papers agenda item 17.
OK, so it is expected that we will go into exempt for this items, please just confirm that this is a case before we proceed to the next item
OK, thank you very much, so we agreed that we're going to have to take that into exempt OK, which means that we're now moving on to Item 13

and I'll now ask Caroline to read the motion. Thank you, thank you, Chair,
pursuant to section 104 of the Local government Act 1972 and the Local government access to information variation, order 2 2006, the public's be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they may evolve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12 A of the Act by virtue of the particular paragraphs shown on the agenda and on the attached reports
