I will ask the Chief Executive to set out some important safety and procedural information
chief executive.
thank you, Mr. Mayor,
in the event of the fire alarm ringing continuously, you must immediately evacuate the building at walking pace officers will escort you via the most direct available route, and no one is to use the lift.
we will make our way to the fire assembly point by the entrance to the Town Hall Yard, car park, on Munson, Way, and once outside a check will be made to ensure everyone has left safely and please do not re-enter the building until advised it's safe to do so.
This is a public meeting and recordings are being webcast live online and a recording will be available for playback on the council's website shortly afterwards. Obviously that doesn't apply to the confidential part of tonight's proceedings. If you wish to speak, please raise your hand and wait for the Mayor to call your name, please use the microphones when speaking the red lights indicates the microphone is on, if any of you haven't pressed your microphones to wake them up

pursuant to section 100, A 4 of the Local government Act 1972 and the Local government access to information variation, order 2006 the motion is that the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business, on the grounds that they may involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in schedule 12 of the Act by virtue of the particular paragraphs shown on the agenda and on the attached reports.
